Mariah's Mission
"Bringing Restoration to God's Daughters"
Mariah's Mission is a ministry to those in the 'strip club industry', with the heart and desire to see each of these precious women discover the love God has for them and the incredible purpose He has for their lives. We demonstrate this love through visiting with the ladies at their places of work, bringing them gifts as a display of their value and sharing the Gospel with them. We're not there to tell them what they're doing wrong or shame them, but to show them that they are loved, prayed for and seen. Through this ministry of love we have seen and trust to see many of these ladies rise up out of this industry and begin to live in the dreams God has put in their hearts.
Isaiah 62:3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
You can partner and participate with us in this incredible outreach in many ways:
1) Prayer- we can't do this apart from God and the power of the Holy Spirit! God makes a way, prepares hearts and saves souls as we seek Him.
2) Join us - For the ladies who have the heart and passion, come with us as we go into these local clubs, to meet these precious ladies, give them a gift, hear their stories first hand and share the love of Christ with them. For the men, come pray in the parking lot for the ladies, for the owners and other employees to discover the love of Christ.
3) Give - We want to truly bless these ladies with beautiful gifts, things that say to them, 'you are valuable and loved!' So giving financially or specific gifts to share with the ladies is an essential part of this ministry's impact and you can give directly through Equipped Church's giving page, simply specify that it is for Mariah's Mission.

Ministry Built Upon 3 Pillars
Free Gift
As Christians, we have received the free gift of eternal life. I believe when we freely give gifts, it is a reflection of God’s heart. We have been given a gift that we cannot pay back, eternal life, and we feel scripture reveals that we should do this to others in return (John 12:3-8, Luke 14:13-23, 2 Corinthians 9:6)
We see these women as invaluable gems (Isaiah 62:3) and we want these gifts to speak this truth because sometimes we can’t. We want to be able to give gifts of value because these ladies are valuable.
The women working in the strip club have to put up with so much, pouring out so much of themselves, often being overlooked in all that they give. To show up with a gift that says “I see you, I know you are working hard, and you have value” impacts the women in unexpected ways.

Testimony
In 2013, I walked away from working in the strip club for good, giving my life to Christ and never looking back. I knew very shortly after getting saved I would one day go back into the clubs and share the message of the good news that has been deposited in me. Fast forward to 2023, and the dream of bringing gifts into the strip clubs becomes a reality. Sharing my testimony of how I once was a stripper and now I walk in a whole new life is a major part of this ministry.
Sharing my testimony has been such an open door to open hearts. Sharing that there is no shame or condemnation from my past holds power in these sacred interactions. On top of sharing my testimony, we prophesy over the ladies, pointing them to Jesus in each prophecy. This can look like on the spot encouragement or an accurate word that the Lord will give beforehand that I’ll have written down in my pocket.
But you don’t need to have my testimony to walk into these spaces. We are walking bibles. People should know the word of God by interacting with us. This has proven SO incredibly effective in this ministry. From the moment we walk in to the moment we leave we are walking testimonies of God’s love for the women in the club.

Authentic Love
“Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
This is the kind of love that we carry into the strip clubs, the authentic love of Jesus. Our goal is to make women feel seen and heard and called out not for their sin but their God given gifts, strength, intelligence and whatever else we see in them as unique individuals. We don’t look at the women as they are, but we look at the women through the holes of Jesus’ hands. We see them as a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, and we encourage them to run and jump into his hands!
