"Moving from a people of religion to a people of promise"

Feb 11, 2024    Chris Smith

Moving into chapter 4, we read of Paul trying desperately to help both his people, the Jews, as well as the Gentiles to understand that our salvation is not based on our ability to earn it, but soley on the power of Jesus to give us a righteous standing before God. As we begin to understand this, allowing the 'chains' of religion to be removed, then we can become a people who walk in God's promises. It's a powerful message of hope, seen in Abraham's walk with God.
