As we venture into Romans 8, the 'new standing' we have in Christ is revealed! We are no longer those who are rightly condemned for our sins, but instead we are those who have been given a new 'status', as the innocent through Christ. As we learn to live in this place, we can stop striving to impress God and enjoy have His love over us as we live to be more like Jesus every day! Incredibly profound message from this first half of the chapter.
