Knowing Jesus. Living His Word. Walking in His Spirit. Making Him known.
Christianity is more than a collection of ideas to agree with. It is a life of knowing Jesus, being transformed by His truth, empowered by His Spirit, connected to His Church, and sent into the world with His Gospel.
At Equipped Church, everything we teach and everything we do is rooted in the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ.
We are a non-denominational local church that is autonomous in leadership while joyfully partnering with the New Covenant Ministries International team for relationship, accountability, equipping, and the advance of the Gospel to the nations.

Our heartbeat is simple: to know Jesus and make Him known.
Our Beliefs
WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD.
We believe there is one true and eternal God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
God created everything that exists, both visible and invisible. He is perfectly holy, loving, powerful, wise, just, merciful, and good. He does not change and is worthy of all worship, honor, and praise.
Scripture: Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 4:11

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS TRUE.
We believe God has revealed Himself through creation, through His written Word, and ultimately through His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible is God's inspired Word and is our authoritative foundation for what we believe and how we live. Through Scripture, we come to know God's character, His purposes, His ways, and His great story of redemption.
We don't want simply to know the Bible—we want God's Word to shape our thinking, transform our lives, and lead us into greater obedience to Jesus.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 3:16–17; Hebrews 4:12; Psalm 119:105; John 17:17

WE BELIEVE EVERY PERSON BEARS GOD'S IMAGE.
We believe every person has been created by God, in the image of God, with dignity, value, and purpose.
Humanity was created to know God, glorify Him, represent Him, steward His creation, and live in relationship with Him.
Our identity and purpose ultimately make sense when they are found in our Creator.
Scripture: Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 8:4–6; Psalm 139:13–16

Scripture: Genesis 1:26–28; Psalm 8:4–6; Psalm 139:13–16
WE BELIEVE HUMANITY NEEDS A SAVIOR.
Humanity was created for relationship with God, but sin entered the world through rebellion against Him.
Sin fractured our relationship with God, distorted His image in us, and brought brokenness into every part of creation.
We cannot rescue ourselves through good works, religion, morality, or effort.
We need a Savior.
Scripture: Genesis 3:1–24; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:1–3

We need a Savior.
Scripture: Genesis 3:1–24; Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:1–3
WE BELIEVE JESUS IS THAT SAVIOR.
At the center of everything we believe is Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the eternal Son of God who became fully human while remaining fully God. He lived the sinless life we could not live and willingly gave Himself on the cross for our sins.
On the third day, God raised Him from the dead.
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus defeated sin and death and made reconciliation with God possible.
Jesus is not simply a teacher to admire. He is Savior, Lord, and King.
Scripture: John 1:1–14; Colossians 1:15–20; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Philippians 2:5–11

These Aren't Just Beliefs. They're A Life We Want To Live.
WE BELIEVE JESUS STILL CHANGES LIVES.
We believe salvation is God's gift.
We are forgiven, reconciled to God, and given new life not because we have earned it, but because of what Jesus has done.
God calls us to repent, believe the Gospel, put our faith in Jesus Christ, and follow Him as Lord.
Those who trust in Christ are made new, welcomed into God's family, and given eternal life.
Jesus alone saves.
Scripture: John 3:16–17; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9–10; Ephesians 2:8–10

WE BELIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT IS STILL AT WORK.
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God.
He is not merely an influence or a force. He is the Spirit of God, present and active in the lives of believers and in His Church.
The Holy Spirit reveals truth, convicts us of sin, assures us of our salvation, comforts us, guides us, transforms us, and makes us more like Jesus.
The Church was birthed in the outpouring and power of the Holy Spirit, and we believe His presence and power are just as necessary today.
We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit continue to be given to believers for the building up of the Church and the advance of God's Kingdom.
We desire to be a people who are filled with the Spirit, led by the Spirit, displaying the fruit of the Spirit, and empowered by the Spirit to demonstrate the love and power of Jesus.
Scripture: John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Galatians 5:22–25

WE BELIEVE THE CHURCH IS A PEOPLE, NOT A BUILDING.
We believe Jesus is building His Church.
The Church is not primarily a building, an event, or a Sunday service. The Church is the people of God—redeemed by Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, joined together as His family, and sent into the world.
Every follower of Jesus has been given gifts, purpose, and a part to play.
We believe the Church should be a place where believers are equipped and mature, relationships are authentic, people are cared for, disciples are made, spiritual gifts are used, leaders are raised, and the Gospel is carried into our communities and to the nations.
We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.
Scripture: Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Ephesians 4:11–16; 1 Peter 2:4–10

WE BELIEVE EVERY CHRISTIAN IS SENT.
Jesus has entrusted His Church with a mission.
We believe every follower of Jesus is called to participate in making disciples—not only pastors, missionaries, or church leaders.
We want every person in our city, our nation, and the nations of the world to have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus.
That means living as witnesses wherever God has placed us and willingly going wherever He sends us.
Scripture: Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8; 2 Corinthians 5:17–20; Romans 10:13–15

WE BELIEVE JESUS IS COMING AGAIN.
We believe Jesus Christ will return.
He will judge the living and the dead, evil will finally be defeated, creation will be restored, and God's Kingdom will be revealed in its fullness.
Those who belong to Christ will be with Him forever.
Because Jesus is coming again, we want to live with faith, hope, holiness, purpose, and urgency today.
